FD、教育手法については、近年になって関心が高まり、多くの研究、積極的な提言が目立つようになっているが、経済学、なかでも国際経済学の分野に限定をすると、そのプロトコルが提示されるようなことは、内外を問わずなかったように思われる。ましてやメディア教材を利用した経済学、国際経済学の講義について書かれた論稿は存在しない。本論では、筆者の講義をベースにして、プロトコルの一例をあげ、メディア教材の取り入れや講義での直接的な利用の必要性を確認するとともに、利用例を示す。そして、シラバスを単なる講義計画の提示のみでなく、予習、復習、発展的な学習のために利用できるように工夫すべきであること、ホームページを利用して、上記機能のほか、各回ごとの講義内容を提示するのも一つの方法であること、プロジェクタを利用してプレゼンテーションの効果をあげること、メールなどを利用して、双方発信型の講義を目指すべきであること、各種メディア教材を積極的に取り入れるべきであることなどを提起する。また、これらの試みを国際経済学の講義で取り入れる具体例を示し、さらに、授業評価を含めたFDへの取り組みを、個人レベルだけでなく、教員間、大学全体で行うこととその検証の必要性を提唱する。This paper discusses how to use media when teaching International Economics. Some studies have been undertaken in various fields of economics, however relatively few which focus specifically on International Economics. Experience has shown that a good syllabus, simple presentation of content and open communication between teachers and students (and between teachers themselres) are all important for a high level of student achievement. Taking an International Economics lecture as an example, the use of various types of media to present syllabus information are demonstrated. These types include print media, video, OHP, computers and the Internet. The benefits of student course evaluation are also discussed, together with ideas on recording classes for later assessment. Finally we propose that not only indivisual efforts but also common efforts among teachers and/or schools are important for Faculty Development.
